West Potomac High School is a public high school in Alexandria, VA. It is one of the few high schools in Fairfax County that has an engineering department, offering classes in all engineering disciplines. These classes are held in high esteem by all, because they are able to integrate math, science, logic and practicality. Students in the engineering department graduate with a more definite vision of where they want their life to lead, and are left feeling more confident of themselves and their abilities.

The West Potomac Engineering Department is lucky to have several high-tech resources at its disposal. These devices include the sublimation printer, which creates custom-printed objects; the 3D printer, a rapid prototyping machine; and the laser engraver/cutter. While all these resources are used in class, they are also used after school by the students to raise funds for the program.

Products created and bought from the Engineering Store will not only prove to be unique and specially designed for the customer, but will also help support the Engineering Department in their regional and state-wide competitions.

The equipment and West Potomac HS is not open to the public.
