Our second annual RC Mania is sure to be a blast, and we would like everyone to come! This event is an extension of the Fun Fly, because in addition to both free-flight and RC planes and helicopters, this is an event for RC boats and cars as well as control line planes! Held on the athletic fields and parking lots behind West Potomac High School, this is a perfect event for serious RC experts as well as families looking for a fun day. Concessions, RC accessories and paraphernalia will be sold. As well, pony rides will be offered for kids, provided by Tamarack Stables.

West Potomac Fun Fly - held bi-annually
Come join the West Potomac Engineering Club and local aviators at our Fun Fly; a fun-filled day great for everyone from serious fliers to families looking for an educational adventure! Hosted in the West Potomac gymnasium, the Fun Fly consists of a free-flight area, an RC area, and an outdoor flight area, weather permitting. We also have a kids' exhibit, where every kid is taught how to build their own custom paper airplane. Our flight simulator is also open to anyone, more specifically those who would like to experience flying a plane but would like to practice without the risk of damage. Concessions are available, as are West Potomac Fun Fly paraphernalia. We will also take orders for our laser engraver as well as 3D printer.
